Booking and Travel Notes

Travel charges and kit set up and takedown are included in on location pricing.
For distances more than 30 minutes there is an up charge of 2 dollars per mile per artist.
If you have more than 6 people needing makeup there is a 75 dollar second artist travel and booking fee.
Any facial hair waxing can be booked at makeupbymaryllc.com and is in studio only.
I suggest you complete any hair removal 5 to 7 days before your wedding.
Eyebrow tinting is for in studio only and can be booked online.

How far in advance should I book my wedding date? +

I recommend booking as soon as you secure your venue and date. Most brides reach out 6 to 12 months ahead. Prime Saturdays and holiday weekends book the fastest.

Do you require a trial and a retainer to hold the date? +

A bridal trial is strongly recommended so we can test your look, match your skin, and go over any concerns before your wedding day.

Your date is secured with a non refundable retainer and a signed agreement. The remaining balance is due before or on the wedding day as outlined in your contract.

Can you travel to my hotel, AirBnB, or venue? +

Yes. I travel to hotels, AirBnBs, and venues as long as there is a clean, well lit setup space with an outlet and table available.

Travel within my normal service radius is included. Additional travel or early start times may have an extra fee and will be quoted in advance.

How many people can you accommodate in one wedding party? +

The number of faces I can take depends on the call time, your timeline, and whether an additional artist is needed.

For larger parties, there may be a second artist fee so that everyone is finished in a comfortable window and no one feels rushed.

What if someone in my party has allergies or specific skin concerns? +

Please include any known allergies, sensitivities, or special skin concerns in your inquiry form.

I use professional products and prep the skin based on each person, but I may decline to apply certain products if it is unsafe or if a reaction is likely.

Do you offer hair services? +

I focus exclusively on makeup so that I can give you the best possible result and timing for your wedding day.
